Well, duh. And the best cure for that is for people to cease watching. Money talks. But I will point out that the only way that a conspiracy of monopoly could exist is with government support. I will keep making fun of this system and the annually promised tweaking 'so this will never happen again' with laughter. Because laughing at these "educated" men is the best way to deal with them.

A better solution. The other excluded conferences announce this week that they are organizing a 16 team playoff system for net year, just like the NCAA's Division 1AA, 2 and 3 does. And let the NCAA try to stop them. Is the NCAA beholden to college athletics, or to a few (6) powerful 1A conferences?
