• Washinton Post / Cheryl Thompson

With no peer review, Cheryl Thompson describes a report that the Washington Post has a copy of, but won't share until later this month. In a two-page article, exactly one sentence is allowed for rebuttal.

Rebuttal of what? The GALL of a Kansas politician who got a bill passed restricting the dissemination of ATF reports on gun dealers. The irony is ironic.

Just from the bullet points of the executive summary, you can tell this report is going to have major methodological problems. But, by the time anyone gets to read it, it's irrelevant, because the WAPO article is already out there.
