It has taken a little over 200 years, but Washingtonians finally sense that their quirky status as citizens without voting representation in the U.S. Congress might just be coming to an end.

Right! If the rest of the 50 DC owned corporations called "states" have voting among their slaves, why can't the State of the District of Columbia?

Citizens ruling the 48 state republics have no such privilege - nor do they want it.
