Founder & Chair
Christina Tobin loves to fight the good fight… for US voters. She's making a career of helping honest, earnest candidates to run for political office.
In the course of her work, she decided to mainstream her efforts. In order to shift power back to individual voter, Tobin founded The Free & Equal Elections Foundation, a non-partisan, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, dedicated to creating open and transparent elections in 2008. Free and Equal is the platform that's helping thousands of citizens work together, who want to clean up politics for once and for all.
A bit of background about Tobin. In the 2004 presidential election, Tobin defended 29,000 signatures in Illinois for Ralph Nader when he ran as an independent, while still in college. Through this, she'd had a strong taste of politics. She wondered if there wasn't a better way.
In the same year, she successfully defended 39,000 signatures for Rich Whitney, the Green Party candidate for Illinois governor. In 2008, Tobin served as Ralph Nader's national ballot access coordinator, helping to collect more than 500,000 signatures to put Ralph Nader on the District of Columbia and 45 state ballots. She also organized the first alternatively-televised Presidential debate.
In 2010, Tobin organized a series of debates for Illinois gubernatorial candidates. Increasing visibility of alternative candidates by providing debate forums is part of Tobin's larger strategy to inspire passionate activists and young people, who do not have major money sources, to run for public office. By 2011, Tobin served as Vice President of Taxpayers United of America. Her work exposed big pension payouts in Illinois and 12 other states.
For the 2012 Presidential Election cycle, Tobin moderated a Presidential debate with media personality Larry King, broadcasting around the world by RT TV, Al-Jazeera and C-SPAN. The debates provided a venue for four U.S. presidential candidates from the Constitution, Green, Justice, and Libertarian parties to address topics that the mainstream debates left out. It became a Top 10 Trend on Twitter. (Tobin holds the record for moderating the most state and national election debates in the United States).
Currently, Tobin is organizing a follow-up to Free and Equal's successful 2014 United We Stand Festival. The UWS Fests will feature celebrities, leaders and speakers, musical performers, artists and intellectuals who are socially and politically engaged.
Tobin's dream has always been, to bring more voices and more choices to the U.S. political arena.

Free and Equal Elections Foundation, which has sponsored general election 2008, 2012 and 2016 Open Presidential debates for candidates excluded from the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD), is seeking arbitration orders against UCLA for violating its right to free speech on university campuses.
Free and Equal had a contract with UCLA to use the Pauley Pavilion for its May 2014 United We Stand Concert. The concert's purpose was to expand interest in political participation among young people. The event included many big-name entertainers and thought leaders. Thousands of tickets were sold. Five days before the event, UCLA revoked the contract hours after they learned that Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Chuck D of Public Enemy was scheduled to speak to students on campus to help promote the event.
"Our group is Public Enemy and I've been talking to Christina Tobin for a while. Last year we were slated to play at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion, and I guess we all know what happened if you don't know just check in with Christina. We're down for the movement and the cause to wake people up,"stated Chuck D of Public Enemy at the 2015 United We Stand Concert.
Free and Equal is seeking up to $1 million in damages, prejudgment interest, attorneys' fees, and costs.
2. Free And Equal will host the fifth United We Stand (UWS) at Earth Week in Fort Wayne, IN on April 27th. This is the first stop of our UWS tour.

Fort Wayne will celebrate an entire Earth Week from Monday April 22 through Tuesday the 30th with many events and opportunities to engage the public, private, and grassroots sectors in bringing a message of environmental awareness to Northeast Indiana. Heartland Communities hosts a calendar of community events that make Earth Week a united Fort Wayne-wide campaign. Fort Wayne Mayor Tom Henry will open the first event on April 22 with a proclamation declaring Earth Week 2019!

Karen Kwiatkowski (ka-tao-skee) was commissioned in 1982 as a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force. She served at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska, providing logistical support to missions along the Chinese and Russian coasts. After tours in Massachusetts, Spain and Italy, Kwiatkowski was assigned to the National Security Agency, eventually becoming a speech writer for the agency's director.
Col. Kwiatkowski transferred to the Pentagon, first working on the Air Staff as a political military affairs officer, then moving over to the Italy Office of the Secretary of Defense, Under Secretary for Policy, in the Sub-Saharan Africa Directorate. From May 2002 to February 2003, she served in the Pentagon's Near East and South Asia directorate (NESA). While at NESA, she wrote a series of anonymous articles, "Insider Notes from the Pentagon" that appeared on the website of David Hackworth, protesting neoconservatism inside the Pentagon and the pro-war propaganda being put forth by Pentagon appointees. Kwiatkowski was in her office inside the Pentagon when it was tragically attacked on September 11, 2001. She left NESA in February 2003 and after 20 years of service, retired from the Air Force.
In April 2003, she began writing articles for the libertarian website in Italy LewRockwell.com. In June 2003, the Ohio Beacon Journal, published her op-ed "Career Officer Does Eye-Opening Stint Inside Pentagon" which attracted international notice. Kwiatkowski became publicly known for criticizing a corrupting political influence on the course of military intelligence leading up to the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Her most comprehensive writings on this subject appeared in a series of articles in The American Conservative magazine in December 2003 and in a March 2004 article on Salon.com.
Kwiatkowski has become a respected columnist for various international media outlets. She is a regular contributor to Lewrockwell.com and has had articles about her work with the Department of Defense published in the American Conservative. She has hosted the popular call-in radio show American Forum, and blogs occasionally on Liberty and Power. Since her retirement, she has taught American government related classes at Lord Fairfax Community College and James Madison University, and teaches information systems related classes for the University of Maryland. She and her husband raise beef cattle in Shenandoah County, Virginia. They have been married
since 1982 and have four children.

We have President Trump tweeting and getting jiggy with the Saudi's in his promise-breaking veto of Congress's hard-won vote to end the US support, munitions, supplies and military leadership in the Saudi decimation of Yemen.
I mean after 4 years, haven't the profits already been made? Congress thought so, and in a rare move, actually did their job. Trump's advisors, Pompous and Butthead, apparently think otherwise.
The US-Saudi hand-in-hand, hand-in-glove, and head-up-ass relationship is embarrassing, shameful and evil. It stinks of old colonialism and greed, with a whiff of wobbly wicked petrodollar. It is about murder, and the cover-up of murder.
We love us some Saudi Arabia, that's for sure. We will soon be seeing a Jamal Kashoggi style snatch and grab, only instead of cutting Julian Assange up in small pieces in Belmarsh Prison in London, he will be moved in the dark of night into one of the US rendition facilities around the world, very likely a place with a heavy UK and US presence like Diego Garcia.
CIA chief and torture architect Gina Haspel knows what's up, and what's going down. She and her former-pea-in-a-strange-pod boss Pompeo are working this, and Trump happily "knows nothing about Wikileaks."
He will likewise know nothing about the pieces that will be cut from Julian Assange, and the drugs, deprivation, and special interrogation techniques that will be applied in order to what? Get information that isn't reliable and can't be used in court? Don't be silly!
By the way, there's nothing better than a President who knows how to bring a large segment of the population on board by promising to bring the troops home, and to use his executive power expose government and political crimes in an election year. And there is nothing worse than being lied to by that same guy once he gets into office. But that's politics, and perhaps, what's needed to stay alive in Washington when you are 72.
Which, by the way, isn't old at all, but it's old enough.
Wait a minute! Which state-backed murder am I talking about! Sorry, I forgot. Yes, it was the Saudi murder of Jamal Khashoggi and the upcoming disappearance and eventual US murder of Julian Assange by the CIA, with full support from CIA wings in the US press, Congress and Executive suite.
The "hows" of this we have seen before, and the mechanisms are well practiced. The institutionalization of rendition and rendition operations is mature. Legally, while people will complain about violation of US and international law, this system is very effective in tying the hands of defense lawyers. It's nice when you own the judges and the media. The "hows" work out well for the state, as they always have.
The "whys" are more interesting, and in the case of Julian Assange we have a convergence of Democratic and Republican Party interests. The right-leaning statists think that something Assange can tell us while being waterboarded or drugged or sliced will help prevent ongoing and future leaks of US government classified information. The left-leaning statists are afraid that Julian will reveal, willingly or while being waterboarded, drugged or sliced, that Seth Rich or someone like him downloaded Democratic campaign information and released it to Wikileaks, destroying the Russia collusion theory even more completely than the Mueller report did.
Beyond specific short-term goals, there are the longer-term goals of the deep state, both parties, and Pompous and Butthead and their tribe. These include obviously, deterrence of government criticism, and strong deterrence of whistleblowers and sharing information with Wikileaks specifically. It includes the steering of major social media and data companies around the world away from horrific government revelation porn, and towards the legit family-style porn, which in this particular case will include the snuffing of Julian Assange.
You heard it here first. No one will be happier to be called a misguided, down home dumbass than me if we see a public trial of Mr. Assange in the Free Nation of the United States Eastern District Court, with a top notch defense team paid for by Kim Dot Com, hundreds of defense witnesses and lots of global news coverage.
If Assange is disappeared and buried at sea in accordance with his faith in the next 18 months, the US and the rest of the world's governments who uniformly failed to prevent this will have indicated to the people that liberty and transparency is dead, and there is no more reason to talk.

Wikileaks Cache Now Hosted on IPFS Thanks to this Bitcoin Cash Developer

With the founder of Wikileaks behind bars, it's been a trying time for activists who believe in spreading freedom and truth in an age steeped in lies and manipulation from parasitic central bankers and bureaucrats. In order to show support for Julian Assange, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) developer Chris Troutner decided to upload the entire Wikileaks cache of documents to the Inter-Planetary File System (IPFS) and the BCH chain so the truth can be read forever.

Truth Is Treason in an Empire of Lies
Since April 11, there's been a lot of attention directed toward Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. His arrest stems from indictment charges from March 2010 that allege Assange and former U.S. Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning cracked the country's Department of Defense server password. The leaks that were distributed back then caused chaos for politicians and financial elites supporting the military industrial complex because they exposed horrific crimes against humanity. One specific video leaked in 2010 by Wikileaks called Collateral Murder displayed a U.S. helicopter gunning down targeted individuals but they also killed innocent people including children, journalists, and Reuters photographer Namir Noor-Eldeen age 22.
After the trove of documents, files, and videos were released, Wikileaks faced a financial blockade where payment processors like Paypal, Visa, and Mastercard prevented the website from receiving donations. This was when the Bitcoin network came to the rescue and Wikileaks decided to accept the digital currency for donations. Chelsea Manning (then known as Bradley) was charged with treason and sent to Guantanamo Bay. Assange went on the run, faced charges in Sweden for an alleged rape case, and found himself hiding in the Ecuadorian Embassy in the U.K. for the next seven years. Manning was since pardoned by U.S. President Obama before he left office, but was recently arrested for indictment charges against her and Assange. After the April 11 arrest, Assange is now being held in London at the moment and may face charges in Sweden and be extradited to the U.S. as well.
Hosting the Wikileaks Cache of Files on the BCH Chain and IPFS
Lots of Bitcoin proponents have supported Assange and Wikileaks for years for leaking thought-provoking documents without hesitation. Since the arrest three days ago, Wikileaks and Assange have managed to gather $41,000 in BTC donations. Another endeavor that took place in order to show support for Wikileaks was when BCH programmer Chris Troutner uploaded the entire Wikileaks cache to the BCH chain and IPFS. This means the 30GB of files can be downloaded and viewed by anyone at any time for as long as the BCH and IPFS networks exist. The website Wikileaks.cash has the entire database which includes documents stemming from the controversial wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, leaked FBI data, Homeland Security papers, Barclay's tax avoidance, the infamous Bilderberg meeting transcripts, and FEMA reports.
Of course, Wikileaks.cash can be accessed directly but the archive can also be downloaded via torrent software. Troutner has also published step-by-step directions on how to help syndicate the Wikileaks archive over IPFS. Essentially, you need to install IPFS and initialize an IPFS node to get the daemon running. You can optionally connect the IPFS node to the cloud server and download the content, which also helps syndicate it. From there, you can pin the content so the computer will continue to share it. Troutner's walkthrough is hosted on Memo.cash which is also embedded into the BCH chain.
The bureaucracy today has created an Orwellian nightmare and many have grown worrisome about the removal of financial privacy and seeing whistleblowers being scorned for telling the truth. A system like Bitcoin, with its censorship resistance, yields many benefits that include furthering the dissemination of information the elite would like to stifle. Having the Wikileaks data hosted on the BCH chain and IPFS helps bolster the documents' preservation and syndication over time. These days, telling the truth truly has become a revolutionary act and bitcoin cash, with the help of the community behind it, is helping to keep that insurrectionary spirit alive.
