Karen Kwiatkowski (ka-tao-skee) was commissioned in 1982 as a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force. She served at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska, providing logistical support to missions along the Chinese and Russian coasts. After tours in Massachusetts, Spain and Italy, Kwiatkowski was assigned to the National Security Agency, eventually becoming a speech writer for the agency's director.

Col. Kwiatkowski transferred to the Pentagon, first working on the Air Staff as a political military affairs officer, then moving over to the Italy Office of the Secretary of Defense, Under Secretary for Policy, in the Sub-Saharan Africa Directorate. From May 2002 to February 2003, she served in the Pentagon's Near East and South Asia directorate (NESA). While at NESA, she wrote a series of anonymous articles, "Insider Notes from the Pentagon" that appeared on the website of David Hackworth, protesting neoconservatism inside the Pentagon and the pro-war propaganda being put forth by Pentagon appointees. Kwiatkowski was in her office inside the Pentagon when it was tragically attacked on September 11, 2001. She left NESA in February 2003 and after 20 years of service, retired from the Air Force.

In April 2003, she began writing articles for the libertarian website in Italy LewRockwell.com. In June 2003, the Ohio Beacon Journal, published her op-ed "Career Officer Does Eye-Opening Stint Inside Pentagon" which attracted international notice. Kwiatkowski became publicly known for criticizing a corrupting political influence on the course of military intelligence leading up to the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Her most comprehensive writings on this subject appeared in a series of articles in The American Conservative magazine in December 2003 and in a March 2004 article on Salon.com.

Kwiatkowski has become a respected columnist for various international media outlets. She is a regular contributor to Lewrockwell.com and has had articles about her work with the Department of Defense published in the American Conservative. She has hosted the popular call-in radio show American Forum, and blogs occasionally on Liberty and Power. Since her retirement, she has taught American government related classes at Lord Fairfax Community College and James Madison University, and teaches information systems related classes for the University of Maryland. She and her husband raise beef cattle in Shenandoah County, Virginia. They have been married

since 1982 and have four children.

We first began to research into 'the problems' during the FIRST, 'Phony Oil Shortage* (designed to raise the price of Gasoline from .42 cents per gallon up to $1.42 per gallon) which was Titled "The Arab Oil Embargo of 1972″.

Prior to that time, we existed as various private business owners, and we continually got audited every year, because we had a large annual cash flow, but due to continuous rising material prices, we never made any appreciable taxable profit.    Theft of our private property caused the IRS computer to "kick-out" or flag our members every year.

We soon tired of being on the endless treadmill of debts and taxation, to some private corporations, that we did not feel we should be in business with.

Several of us got together and began "Research" into the problems and began to organize the research, and then collate it into the 4 main areas that people seem interested in.    These became the 3 "Home-Study Courses" and various Educational "Information Packages" offered by our sister group.

As time went by, a local "Weekly Research Meeting" was created for researchers to share the new knowledge with and among each other.   As more time went by and people's time, wear-and-tear on their cars, and increasing risk of harassment along the way by revenue collectors  "State Policy Enforcement" (revenue collection), (police officers) increased, the physical meetings were transformed into weekly research telephone conference calls, to accomplish the purpose (network) without the physical risks, and costs, with weekly written transcripts. 

The original 'sister website' continued to offer the 4 main interest areas, research by hard-copy or mail-order. ( www.peoples-rights.com ).   However, the postage/shipping costs began to rise to unacceptable levels, and people were NOT studying/reading the "research" material.    The new "students" simply wanted to know WHAT-TO -DO about the problems.

They did NOT care Who, What, When, Where, Why, or How.    They want the "quick fix" ("monkey-see, monkey-do") answers, that others (earlier/previous students) had been successful using/doing.

 "Escape Harassment" is a Volunteer Group of Researchers and Educators.

The American people 'think' they live in a "Constitutional Republic", the "Land of the Free, Home of the Brave".

They are brainwashed/ indoctrinated (education by omission) into "Democracy" (mob rule), by the government's education, government churches, and government-controlled media.   What actually exists today is "rule by corporations" (government "agencies", headless unaccountable 4th branch).

The agencies continue to "regulate" the (unsuspecting) American people by enforcing internal-agency, "administrative", "Informal rule-making procedure", interpretive (lawyer opinion), regulations that are NOT lawfully promulgated enforceable.   ONLY those agency-promulgated regulations that are "Substantive Regulations" (properly enabled, passed and published) have the full force and effect of Law.   There ARE NONE.    These "agencies" IRS, BATF, DMV, DOT, EPA, FEMA, etc. are ALL BLUFF.(See www.AlaskaMinuteMan.com )

They "trick" (coerce) people into contract voluntary "registration",  –  then demand/enforce compliance with terms of the "Contract Penalty-Clause" (Code section & Title numbers).

Arizona Game and Fish Department Raid with Guns because a man had the wrong license.

This another "government out of control" case where the Arizona Game and Fish Department, with guns drawn, raided the home of a peaceful valley man with no history of legal problems. The purpose of the raid was to gather evidence of his alleged failure to purchase a "nonresident" hunting license instead of the "resident" hunting license he actually purchased at the direction of Game and Fish years earlier.
