Anarchapulco
is the first international anarchist/anarcho-capitalist conference of
its type and will be held in drone and regulation free, Acapulco, Mexico
from February 27th to March 1st, 2015 at the Copacabana Hotel on the
beach. Our vision is to take freedom and anarchy to the next level and
that means holding events in much freer areas like Acapulco which is the
most anarchic city in North America. The event will be a mix of music,
speakers, panels, parties and educational opportunities including an
entrepreneurship bootcamp to help prepare the next generation of
ancaps. Already confirmed is anarchist rapper, Rob Hustle (famous for
his track, "This Is What Happens When You Call The Cops"), Neema V and
countless other artists and cutting edge anarchist speakers and
activists. Stay tuned to our website as we confirm more amazing
anarchists from around the world who you can rub shoulders with and
trade with bitcoin as we celebrate the success of the anarchist movement
and plan future world non-domination plans to effect change to bring
about a world full of peace and prosperity by moving past the
anachronistic state.
There are a multitude of ways to get to Acapulco including by plane, bus, automobile and boat. Below we lay out the details of each option.

In February and March there are a number of direct flights to Acapulco
but the majority of them are "charter" airlines which often include both
airfare and hotel for a very cheap cost and don't advertise directly on
sites like Expedia.com.
The one regularly scheduled daily flight direct to Acapulco is from Houston via United Airlines.
Charter flights from Toronto and Montreal direct to Acapulco are operated by Air Transat. *Note that they often don't advertise these well in advance and you often have to call to find out details.
Another option is to drive/fly to San Diego. From there, Volaris offers a shuttle bus to Tijuana airport which then has daily direct flights to Acapulco
For many the easiest way to fly to Acapulco will be to connect through Mexico City. It's just a 35 minute flight from Mexico City to Acapulco and there are flights nearly every hour operated by Aeromexico, Aeromar and Interjet.
As an economic alternative you can take any flight to Mexico City and from there get to Acapulco by bus from $30 USD in an airconditioned VIP bus with individual screens sporting movies and entertainment while enjoying the views as you cruise from Mexico City to Acapulco in around 4-5 hours. More information can be found HERE (Please note that the site is in Spanish only). Buses leave every 15 minutes from the main bus station. You can take a safe taxi right from the airport at minimum hassle.
For those who likes backpacking or traveling by car there is a trailer park by the beach you can stay at with your motorhome or even in a tent. For more information visit their site HERE. Please note that this is around 45 minutes from the event and a bit far from the center of the town.
There are also cheap hostels in Acapulco (coming soon) with low rates excellent for backpackers and within walking distance of Anarchapulco.
For boaters, Club de Yates is expensive but has excellent services or you can anchor for free in Puerto Marquez.
