Concerns about the quality of our air, water, and food bring us together. The eco-balance of our planet and being self sustainable as a species to ensure our existence in freedom. Setting differences aside, sharing food and conversation with each other. Listening to the views and life experiences of the community around.
****WHAT YOU BRING WILL BE. ♥ Please bring your picnic with you if possible. **** If you were going to go picnic by yourself or with friendlies what would you bring? Bring that. **** This is leaderless. You are your own leader.
The community picnics started May 4th 2013 as a way for people to connect with activist friendlies in the area. For it to become a time and space where as many different groups as possible are congregating at once. Hearing from each-others community.
Groups are encouraged to set up their events during the same time and space. This allows other people from other groups to find out what you are doing as well. Making the community smaller.
The picnics have gone incredibly well. It’s nice to see people and touch base. Engaging in conversation about what's going on in our city, in our nation, and around our globe. Ideas being shared and discussed. Thank you to everyone who has come out and enriched it!!!
*This is an open invite to anyone who wants to be involved and meet other people in the community.
*This is an open invite to any activist group who wants to come and share information.
*This is an open invite. =)
