About Property Six:

Property Six was formed in 2002 when six people came together with one common goal: Introducing a style of music to the mainstream and underground industry that was not only entertaining to listen to but unique in such a way that it would grab everyone's attention no matter what genre of music they preferred.

Forming in Phoenix, AZ, the original "six" came together and forged a path through Arizona’s scene that, later on, other local acts would begin to emulate. With the release of their first album "For Sale," Property Six began to create a huge name for themselves by locally playing with national hip-hop and rock acts such as Curtis Blow, 2LiveCrew, Digital Underground, Hot Action Cop, KRS ONE, and many more. Property Six then began a 42 city tour with Arizona’s own Phunk Junkeez and gained further recognition nationwide for their unique performance and sound.

On September 29th, 2006, Property Six released their second full-length album entitled; "Stop the Press!" This album set a new standard for Property Six in the “Rap & Roll” crossover genre by blending elements of hardcore rap, alternative, hip-hop and rock. With moving lyrics, fantastic melodies, and a stage presence that is still unbeatable, Property Six took Phoenix by storm with "Stop the Press!" The music video for the album's title track was produced in mid 2006 and drew even more attention to Property Six by showcasing government and media corruption.

In late 2008, Property Six took the next step into furthering their careers by signing a distribution deal for their second full-length album "Stop the Press" with Latin Thug Records (now part of SHP Records) & Koch Distribution. This contract was ushered to Property Six by none other than "the godfather of latin hip-hop" himself, Mellow Man Ace. Property Six recorded a track with Mellow Man Ace that will be released on a compilation album featuring independent artists and performers from all around the globe entitled "Mellow Man Ace Presents: La Familia." Latin Thug Records has produced albums for the Reyes Brothers (Mellow Man Ace and his brother Sen-Dog of Cypress Hill), B-Real of Cypress Hill, FredWreck and Pachecos as well as numerous other independently distributed bands and artists.

Property Six has since played with many national rock and rap acts; old-school and new. These artists include Ice Cube, Vanilla Ice, Kottonmouth Kings, E-Sham, Big Syke of Tupac’s O.U.T.L.A.W. Immortalz, Kingspade, D.G.A.F., Mower, (hed)p.e., Dirtball, Big B, Sponge, Potluck, Bizarre of D12, MC Chris, Axe Murder Boys, ABK, Mars, Swollen Members, Tech N9ne, Adema, Days of the New, Spice1, Lil' Flip, Afroman, Muck Sticky, Skatterman, Fuel, Rappin' 4 Tay, Pigeon John and Bullet Boys. Property Six was also privileged to play the main stage at the 10th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos hosted by Psychopathic Records.

Members have come and gone from P6, but the original mentality remains in its current incarnation. The name of the band has now derived a new meaning and that is that six individual minds who each come from different musical backgrounds are capable of writing intense and intelligent music while outperforming their musical peers. If one thing has stayed with Property Six in its existence it was to continue making entertaining and unique music, while performing an intense show that forces an audience to clamor for more. With fresh ideas and a determination that is uncommon amongst unsigned artists, Property Six continues to stretch to the skies in order to succeed...
