Thomas
Costanzo fills in for Ernest Hancock today. The guests for the show
is Rob Gray from www.opencurrency.com Open Currency is barter network utilising a voluntary
system of competing currencies. Open Currency is the creators of the
Von Mises silver
Medallion, The Forgotten Founders medallion, the John Galt medallion and the FreedomsPhoenix silver medallion. Rob talks about the
opening of the AG Trading
Post in Dallas that will only be accepting silver as it's medium
of exchange. The AG Trading Post, a general store that people can
go to of food, hardware, general merchandise; however all purchases are made in silver! The AG Trading Post
will not be accepting Fiat currencies for anything in the store and
the first one of many of its type. They are accepting the American Open Currency Standard (AOCS) Silver at Face value. That's right and the face value on the AOCS silver is 50 per medallion!
All the trade that went into the construction of the AG Trading Post was done in Silver. Want to do business at the AG Trading Post and all you have is fiat money? They have a vending machine where you can buy the silver to make your transactions at the store. I am sure we will get an update from Rob in the near future or you can sign up for a newsletter at AGTradingpost.com
After
the break and some callers, we had on of FreedomsPhoenix writers, Bob
Podolsky on the show we talked about two
types of laws: Mala
in se
are acts generally recognized to be evil in and of themselves. These
forbidden acts include murder, rape, torture, slavery, theft,
robbery, fraud, assault, and a host of related acts long ago
recognized as evils by the general public. Mala
prohibita
are acts which are not evil in and of themselves; but which have been
forbidden because someone wants to impose their will upon someone
else.
Bob
also explained that the government
is merely a ROBOT and like an other machine it allows the
operator to do more than he could without the machine no different
than a pair of binoculars allow the operator to see further. However
the Robot has a prime directive, its Mission:
To serve the
interests of its creators – forever increasing their wealth and
power over others, in accordance with the Power Ethic (might makes
right).
