Episode 353: 1986: THE UNTOLD STORY
• The Highwire - Del Bigtree - RumbleIn 1986, President Ronald Reagan signed the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act into Law, inadvertently setting the table for the pharmaceutical industry to become the most influential industry on earth. But that isn't the whole story.
I call bull shite on this. There were several things that set the table for this. The power grab that created SCOTUS judicial review in the 1804 to 1819 period. Perhaps most importantly the medical monopoly that Congress created for the Rockefeller family in 1913. Without a medical monopoly we would not even have big pharma.
