How about a rocket which is 100 feet or more in diameter, and can carry a crew of 20 in luxury, and can accelerate to 12% light speed, and has walls at least 3/8" thick for great protection from rocks and dust in space. It would be assembled and fired in space. Its exhaust would be blown away by the 'wind' from the sun for safety-to-earth purposes. Best of all, the basics are already developed. It could be ready to go as soon as the parts could be built, and Musk could send them into orbit for assembly, using SpaceX.
