But read the following from the legal encyclopedia, CORPUS JURIS SECUNDUM, before you decide if the judge is right or wrong - https://www.youarelaw.org/Download/CorpusJurisSecundum-AttorneyClient.pdf. The only thing I would add is, why do you have to do it in "sui juris" and/or “in propria persona?” After all, why do you need representation at all if you are present? Besides, you don't know what the law is in the Rules of Court or the Codes. Why should you have to learn books and books of 'stuff' just to present your side in court? Are you going to ask for a recess for about 8 to 10 years so that you can become an accomplished lawyer just to handle your own case?
