Corpus Juris Secundum (C.J.S.) legal encyclopedia, volume 7, section 4 and other sections - https://www.youarelaw.org/Download/CorpusJurisSecundum-AttorneyClient.pdf - is an officer of the court, his first duty is to the courts and the public, not to the clients - clients are also called “wards of the court” in regard to their relationship with their attorneys - wards of court = infants and persons of unsound mind placed by the court under the care of a guardian - when you hire an attorney, you become a ward of the court and a second class citizen and you admit the jurisdiction of the court in the matter at hand - you can’t hire an attorney if you want to challenge jurisdiction.
