The Courts essentially are required to rule like this, for the protection of all Americans. Your 3-D printed gun is your property. If you don't want it to fall under the court rulings, claim it as your private property rather than as a gun. The court rulings apply to Government. After all, we wouldn't want police departments to start manufacturing their own printed guns, would we. It's the police and military and government agencies that are restricted by this ruling.

"The first two protections in the U.S. Bill of Rights guarantee freedom of speech and a right to bear arms, respectively. But what about when those collide?" Clearly he misspelled "collude"... which is a truer term, and entirely the reverse of his claim. "It's not a very good gun..." but sending the data over international boundaries is a "national security issue?" Keep on reachin' boys, we can still see the puppet strings.
