Agorism is Not Anarcho-Capitalism
• https://c4ss.org, Derrick BrozeThe goal of this essay is three-fold. First, I will identify the key concepts which outline the philosophy of Agorism and the strategy of Counter-Economics, as outlined by Samuel E. Konkin III in The New Libertarian Manifesto and An Agorist Primer.
As the co-founder of Agorism I hate to see communication fail on semantics. Sam was anarchist, propertarian, pro-free-trade. He wouldn’t reject a workers' syndicate or collective ownership (family, tribe, or commune) so long as property was held voluntarily and nothing prevented exiting with one’s earned share. He thought natural economic laws would tend to individual over collective ownership. Being a fan of Patrick McGoohan's The Prisoner Sam considered himself "unMutual." Sam also believed in science-fiction to show-and-tell libertarian ideas. The first written expression of Agorism was not Sam's 1980 New Libertarian Manifesto but my 1979 novel Alongside Night--in 2014 it became the movie, Alongside Night. Neil
