I highly recommend Breaking Dawn, one of the few true page turners. It not only highlights and analyzes the depravity of the current state of human affairs, but it gives a vision into what humanity is capable of, not so much what we could be capable of if only we were transformed by some outside force, but what we are capable of, if only we were to make different decisions and realize out capabilities.
