Sure, let's get gun control people try. Go back to single-shot guns and ban all automatic weapons except for military and police use. But this is like putting a 30 MPH governor on the car of convicted drunk drivers. Would that really stop a drunk driver from killing people? This Lanz kid could have killed just as many people with a single-shot 12-gauge shotgun and a bag of shells. The mental state of a person using a gun or car determines how it gets used. The Lanz kid reportedly had a mental disorder called Asperger's Syndrome, a form of autism. Like every other school, church, mall, theater or workplace mass murderer who then commits suicide, he was now reported on ABC news as taking psychiatric drugs which have Black Box labels on them warning that they can cause suicidal and violent thoughts and actions. Talk to people on these drugs. Many of them have uncontrollable, violent thoughts and nightmares like someone on LSD--another psychiatric wonder drug. I hear some psychiatrists are again advocating LSD should be used to treat mental disorders. Over twenty percent of our military are being "treated" with psychiatric drugs and the violence and suicides on our military bases is at an all-time record as a result. Ever wonder why these shootings don't happen in Switzerland or Israel where everyone of military age has an assault rifle at home or access to one. They don't put their population on psychiatric drugs like we do.
