I learned of Tom only May 16th.  He sounded like somebody who was gonna' live forever on the air with Earnest.

Shreveport is only 120 miles from here.  I was planning on calling him and zooming up there for lunch in the near future.

Dang.

I can't say that I knew him well, but from what I do know of him, his voice will be missed.
