Richard Branson launches journeys to the centre of the Earth through Virgin Volcanic
• Virgin VolcanicAcademy Award winning actor Tom Hanks to join first expedition. Only 500 people have been to space, only three people have been to the bottom of the ocean, but no one has ever attempted to journey to the core of an active volcano. Until now.
No Freaking Way! - I always say that nothing surprises me any more.... but this? Our collective leg is being pulled out of socket... I think :)
"The first Virgin Volcanic trips are scheduled for 2015." I hate to have to wait that long to hear the tragic story about the demise of Seth, Tom and that other guy. The way things are going now none of us may be around to find out if this could be done. And even if this was the newest fastest way to the other side of the planet, I don't want to be on that first volcanic accident we will be hearing about on the news.
