Fight continues for academic freedom in the US
• www.electronicintifada.netA professor at North Carolina State University is fighting the university and the state government over what seems to be a clear-cut case of discrimination and censorship due to her outspoken criticism of Israeli policy in Palestine.
"And what is anti-Zionist? It is the denial to the Jewish people of a fundamental right that we justly claim for the people of Africa and freely accord all other nations of the Globe. It is discrimination against Jews, my friend, because they are Jews. In short, it is antisemitism."
- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., August 1967

As you will see in the above article the professor in question had her case dismissed due to lack of evidence. The court concluded that Dr. Ginsberg failed to prove her remarks had anything to do with another candidate being selected for another academic position at the University.
This is about the professor playing a victim and not about discrimination.
