When a Cut Is Not a Cut - by Ron Paul
Powell GammillIn spite of the rhetoric being thrown around, the real debate is over how much government spending will increase. No plan under serious consideration cuts spending in the way you and I think about it. Instead, the "cuts" being discussed are illusory
Thank you Ron Paul. I wonder if many of these intellectually challenged Congressmen have ever heard of a zero based budget. If not, all you do is start from zero on every expenditure rather than take a base line budget. Also, since all legislation is to come from the Congress, I wonder what it is that prevents them from passing legislation in order to punish rather than reward Corporations that outsource jobs.
In economics, when a cut is not a cut, woe to those economic cutthroats! However, this is economics, not a political medicine, and I hope Dr. Paul is cut for it.
