Several months ago, my wife was stung by a scorpion that was in the kitchen sink searching for water.  We live in Arizona.  I recently have become a believer in the use of high quality essential oils.  I purchased every book on the subject and the oils have many upside affects on multiple conditions.  The spider bite remedy was simple: In layers, 1 drop of Helichrysum on the sting site; 1 drop Lavender; 1 drop Cypress.  I then called Poison Control.  My wife said the pain instantly stopped when the Helichrysum hit the sting site.  Poison Control offered no treatment except to check back in 6 hours to see how she was doing.  When they called back, you could not even see where the sting site was and Poison Control was speechless.  Remember, use high quality oils from known sources.

I wish to thank Gerald for his story. I did not realize the sting I felt was a spider bite and not a blood vessel popping for at least 3 days until I noticed the small blisters on my upper thigh and was getting terribly sick. I printed the story and took it to my doctor who kept telling me I had shingles. I knew better, told him so, and insisted on the cortizone shot.  When the nurse injected 2 spots on the lower side nothing happened.  When she injected 2 spots on the upper side to the groin area black poison poured out and she said "there it is". He still did not give me an antibiotic, had to go to ER to get it.  The sack (core) was still there and I ordered Black Drawing Salve from Brownreclusespider.com. I applied it 3 times/day and it still took 6 weeks to get the core out. While I was waiting for the salve, I used the skin from raw egg and it pulled some of the core out. If you suspect you are bitten by a spider, please insist your doctor give the 1/10 cc cortizone. I firmly believed it saved me from a lot of misery.

I have heard stories about missionaries who travel to foreign countries that are noted for many poisonous serpents & spiders would carry a stun gun and if ever bitten they would zap themselves a few times where bitten and it would neutralize the poison. Problem solved.
