Live with the WikiLeakable world or shut down the net. It's your choice
• guardian.co.uk / John Naughton[This is] the first really sustained confrontation between the established order and the culture of the internet. There have been skirmishes before, but this is the real thing.
If our Rulers censor/shutdown free speech on the Internet, shutdown free dissemination of information online—because they don’t want truths known, that will build a wave of anger in Americans similar to that mounted against early Kings and Queens of Europe, e.g. France—triggering political revolt. Our current government appears intended to dictate what Americans can read online; dictate how Americans think, dictate how wee behave. Americans are not cattle that can be herded at will by Rulers, Americans are born rebels and won’t shut-up!
Brock thank you so much for posting this article. It has helped me in my struggle with the word 'Democracy' every time I see or hear it - even when used by foreigners from across the water in reference to us here in America.
Epiphany ensues.
Just as we are to replace the word 'cattle' whenever we see 'goyim' in The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, we should be substituting the word 'Mob' whenever we see or hear 'Democracy' (because that's what it is basically). In that context, my usual retort "that's wrong - we are a Republic!" has been seen supplanted by "b-but we're SUPPOSED to be a Republic!"
(smacks self in forehead)
What we started out (what we are supposed to be), and what we have become are clearly and undeniable two vastly different things in reality no matter how bad I want to believe it's on it's last legs, but it's still a Republic.
It astounds me that we put up with what we do from an even smaller portion of society than we Patriots and Activists trying to free minds - those in power!
Why do so many put up with this!?!
Flatscreen TV's, and Christmas Trees
Spa Days, and Chemtrail Haze
Brand-new Nikes, and Nuttin' We No Likey
The Game-of-the-Week, and DoubleSpeak
Bread and Circuses, Welfare Checks
Dependency Plus Hedonism Equals Human Wrecks
Note how it is the exposure of deceit and treachery in Clinton's State Dept. that is being persecuted and prosecuted, NOT the deceit and treachery itself. Sure Clinton and Obama support free flowing information, as long as the bilge pours only from the spin doctors' PR desks! I am afraid WikiLeaks will soon draw a federal pipewrench to tighten the internet traps. Truth telling is now a major felony. Freedom is never legislated. It is exercised. When government is lying, telling truth is a revolutionary act. Gird up!
"Shut down the net" is actually not their choice. It'd be funny to see them try though.
