The problem isn't WAR, specifically, it's the political party. Jumping on board with an artificial imposition of values is always going to put you at the mercy of the person presently deciding what those values are. If you choose to call yourself a (big-L) Libertarian you are choosing to support the values that Root espouses, because he's the one setting the standard at the moment. Later, some other guy will come along who is equally ill-fit to represent you and you'll dislike what he has to say. Maybe someday you'll wise up and adopt a personal, rather than group, identity.
