I think it's more like Lendman seeks to whitewash the terrorism and death of Israelis and Jews at the hands of the jihadists he apologizes for or rationalizes the behavior of.

Mr. Lendman, sir.

You write, among other, that "Turkey holds Israel responsible for the massacre".

Definition of "massacre" in 'dictionary.com' states:

noun

1. the unnecessary, indiscriminate killing of a large number of human beings or animals, as in barbarous warfare or persecution or for revenge or plunder. 2. a general slaughter, as of persons or animals: the massacre of millions during the war.     The killing of the activists on Mavi Marmara was: a. not "unnecessary", it that it was done to get control of the vessel, even if you do not agree with legality of this objective - it was not "unnecessary"; b. not "indiscriminate" - pls be sincere with yourself, there were 600 persons on the vessel, only a handful were hurt, ALL of them, from IHH; c. not "large number", see in definition (2) above - "large number" relates to trully big figures, e.g., "millions".   Now, you dont have to like Israel (by God I know you hate it), but if you have a gram of intellectual decency in you, pls retract this statement which is incorrect, as I logically showed above.
