The discerning reader has noticed, of course, that this article describes a guy riding a horse while stating "guys moves through air without the aid of a horse". It's a pretty silly headline. Natural (yeast) organisms were used to splice small synthetic fragments into larger one and these into still larger ones. Then the host did the cell division by itself without human aid or design. Then, eventually, through what is little more than splitting hairs--a mathematical or logical trick--they proclaim that "well, the final DNA in final copies is ours". I must caution the non-scientist readers on this site to beware...there seems to be no scientific literacy on the part of the editors here. On the other hand, they stumble onto some really neat stuff. This BS is not an example of that, though. It's hyped engineering masquerading as real science.
