US Supreme Court briefly halts Texas execution
• The AgitatorDoes the fact that Skinner asked his lawyer—in writing—to request the [DNA] test, and his lawyer refused ....and ... an accused murderer getting a court-appointed attorney who was a former DA, but actually prosecuted the accused in another case.
I was for capital punishment before I was against.
The reason is because government should not have powers that individuals do not.
Individuals delegate their power to the state, states to the feds.
Therefore, logically, the feds should have the same or lesser power than a state, and a state the same or lesser than a person.
If a person does not have the right to execute another person, then neither should the state.
