“Turning medicine into political football …”  What a vivid irony! The government kicks it, the beneficiaries catch it for a touchdown. Private insurance monopolists attempt to intercept it in a free market run but in a tackle lost the ball with $million shoulder-to-head injuries after this healthcare bill is signed into law.  It is a hell of a consumer-provider football that summons the demons of politics.  I lost in this game. I am a free enterprise fan but the free market apple I bite while watching this game is wormed by private interests. And government dictation, intervention if you may, on how I treat my health, is just as worse.
