Sure, nothing wrong with that.  The government and the corporations that run it fuck up and we the sheeple pay their price.  That's the way it's been since the beginning of time and nothing will ever change.

These Ivory Tower Professors are in a state of academia similar to Obama that they don't appear to comprehend the dire economic consequences $7.00 a gallon gas would cause the airline and manufacturing industries while concurrently making it unaffordable for millions of Americans to drive to work. People would be so broke after buying gas they would have little left to buy basic products causing manufacturers to lay off workers.
