Witches are NOT necessarily evil and it was the church's BS that started the whole insanity of labeling people demons/witches/warlocks for practicing what could be considered natural healing techniques and historical medicines.  They also taught to enlighten and give others, in many cases, the tools of knowledge/wisdom that were known and this was contrary to submission to the church and its god.

Certainly, there may be those involved, as in every profession, that use whatever knowledge for the negative aspects (done in every religion, and every political sect, etc.).  That is a far cry from the nonsense and FEAR tactics used against those with knowledge in the past, and more specifically, NOW.  Get over it.  Understanding the truth and NOT the hype would be too much for many to handle, because that would lead to the truth about religion being used solely for a controlling device--as it is.

Unless he went througgh a recent conversion, I think Jet's reason for posting this was out of facetiousness and not out of subscription to what the author says. I recall one other instance where Jet posted an article that was religious in nature and controversial like this one.

The whole reasoning behind this woman's denunciation of celebrating Halloween is really dumb and I commented on this kind of irrational logic in my previous commentary.

Mr. Renzulli,

You sir, ARE CORRECT SIR!  No pun intended but God do I love Halloween!  There's the free candy, dressing up as something you're not once a year, scaring the crap out of  local children without getting charged, etc.  I thought most people would catch on when I added littering, anything to do with canteloupe, jaywalking, etc as associated with occultism.

My only question is....should I be "John Wayne Lacey" dressed as Pogo the Clown, or should I buy a Speak and Spell, rent a wheelchair, and go as a greased up, be-speedoed Dr. Stephen Hawking ready for his big "Playgirl" shoot?

Ahhhhh, choices, choices...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Hmmm..... I wonder if Leprechauns pray over the corned beef every St. Patrick's Day?
