Chuck, you say: "(Lordship and Sovereignty is the exclusive domain of Jesus Christ.)"

In my own life, that Sovereignty and Lordship is my own. Christ does not exercise Sovereignty or Lordship of any person's life unless they ask Him to.

Right on, Chuck. Lots of words, though.

Since the Lordship of Jesus is far higher than any other authority, He is Lord of all. This is shown when Paul, speaking to unbelievers in the Areopagus in Athens says (NIV), "From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live." So He is the Lord of all, right down to controlling the exact places where even the unbelievers all live.

Gangsters have governments. Watch the "Godfather" movies and see how their government works. Anybody who was part of the gangster governments had better obey.

But the government of Jesus is a government of peace and freedom.

Look throughout Romans 13. Nowhere does it tell you which government you are to follow - other than the government of God, Himself, that is. If you are under the government of the United States, you are there by choice. The U.S. does not stop you from expatriating. So if you have adhered to the government of the U.S., then obey it. That includes to change it, becuase changing it when necessary is part of it. After all, don't we change it a little every election?

So, if we guide and change government according to the prescribed methods for changing government, are we not doing right? But if government people change government in ways that are illegal, are they not doing wrong? Is it our duty to follow their illegal activities, thereby agreeing that the government should be changed in these illegal ways?

Wake up folks. The laws in the U.S. even state that a government official who acts outside of his governmental authority, is not acting as a governmental offical, but is acting personally, and should not be obeyed.
