Legislators push tax hike to benefit professional baseball

Lawmakers have balked at Gov. Jan Brewer's request to refer a temporary sales-tax increase to the ballot because they don't approve of tax increases. But they're moving along a bill to refer another tax hike to the ballot.

What makes one tax referral different from another? Baseball, apparently.
