California Voters Reject Schwarzenegger Budget Balancing Remedy
• Bloomberg.comCalifornia voters appear to have rejected a package of budget-balancing measures that Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said were needed to keep a $15 billion deficit from widening to $21 billion.
Now we will see if the Gov. holds up his end of implementing the threat of cutting an additional $8 trillion in government expenditures if the measures didn't pass. Wanna bet? Despite the clear will of the voters to absolutely make those further cuts to government, I am sure $8 trillion will not be cut.
