Washington DC Council Enacts Tough Gun-Control Measure
• NY TimesNearly six months after the Supreme Court put an end to the District of Columbia’s decades-old ban on handgun possession, the City Council here passed a sweeping new ordinance on Tuesday to regulate gun ownership.
This link is tough if you don't want to register yourself with the NYT ... bottom line: You have to reregister your handguns every 3 months; you have to have a new background check every 6 months; and you have to take gun safety every year to obtain your gun registeration - so they can keep their records up to day and find you when its time. You've been warned.
