I hope you are correct. But my understanding is over 8% of the US population lives in cities, an inverse from the 30's depression. I doubt there is enough arable land to do much of anything. Besides expensive water, it is against local ordinances and home owner associations. Could be fun.

Herbs and such can be grown in patios and indoors. We are in for hard times, for sure.
