2006 – FreedomsPhoenix – 2007 - by Ernest Hancock
Ernest HancockFor weeks I have been digging for a growing splinter in my mind. Just a couple of days ago I plucked the splinter by reasoning out what is behind many developments behind the news. A pattern was right in front of me that I could recognize.
I recognize it! It is that the American populaton is sound asleep and do not have any comprehension about what is going on. Once they wake up- IT WILL BE TOO LATE and they will be the first one to complain.
WILL TRY AGAIN
I will remove the splinter and you will see that the American people are asleep. Once they wake up, it will be too late and they will be the first ones to complain.

YOur splinters fits with a bit of old Thomas Jefferson history I ran across just a few days ago...you may need to read it a couple of times to get the pace and structure of the writing back then lest it be miss-read.
=====================================
While a member of the Continental Congress, Thomas Jefferson made use of these remarkable words:
"It can never be too often repeated, that the time for fixing every essential right on a legal basis, is while our rulers are honest, and ourselves united. From the conclusion of this war we shall be going down hill. It will not then be necessary to resort every moment to the people for support. They will be forgotten, therefore, and their rights disregarded. They will forget themselves but in the sole faculty of making money, and will never think of uniting to effect a due respect of their rights. The shackles, therefore, which shall not be knocked off at the conclusion of this war, will remain on us long, will be made heavier and heavier, till our rights shall revive, or expire, in a convulsion."
Having a splinter is a sticky situation, if you get my point.
