Support for Nazism at the UN

Thursday at the UN General Assembly will be long remembered as a day which will live in infamy.

A shocking 50 nations expressed support for the scourge of Nazism at the UN General Assembly — by refusing to condemn its glorification.

Russia annually introduces a UN resolution to combat what should be universally condemned.

Co-authored by 16 other nations on Thursday, the resolution "encourages states to develop and implement national action plans for the elimination of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, with a view to, inter alia, monitoring closely the phenomenon of Nazism, neo-Nazism and holocaust denial, such as commemorative celebration of the Nazi regime, its allies and related organizations."

The resolution also "expresses deep concern about increased frequency of attempts and activities intended to desecrate or demolish monuments erected in remembrance of those who fought against Nazism during the Second World War, as well as to unlawfully exhume or remove the remains of such persons."

Commenting on the vote, Russia's Deputy UN envoy, Gennady Kuzmin, said the following:

"This year's voting results are truly shocking."

"For the first time in UN history, former Axis members voted against a document condemning Nazism as well as upholding the inviolability of the results of the Second World War." 

"(C)ountries that voted against the resolution, above all, Germany, Japan and Italy, displayed flagrant blasphemy toward the memory of victims of German Nazism, Italian fascism and Japanese militarism."

Russia rejected a US/Western amendment to the resolution because it falsely claimed no connection between its liberating SMO and the scourge of Nazism in Ukraine, Kuzmin explaining:

"The resolution is thematic and not country-related."

"It is directed at dialogue and cooperation and not at assigning labels." 

"This is precisely why we reject(ed) clause 4 of the operative part voted into the resolution which demonstrates alarm over the special military operation in Ukraine." 

It was launched in self-defense to end Ukraine's US-orchestrated and directed aggression against Donbass since April 2014, as well as to demilitarize and deNazify the former nation-state — transformed by hegemon USA into a platform for perpetual war on the Russian Federation and its people.

The resolution rejected by the Biden regime and vassals condemns glorification of Nazism in any form.

It was adopted by a vote of 120 nations in favor to a shameful 50 against.

Ten nations abstained.

Defying reality, the Biden regime's UN envoy, Thomas-Greenfield, once again embarrassed herself on the world stage by falsely claiming that the resolution was not a serious attempt to combat the scourge of Nazism — what hegemon USA, its Western and other vassals support, she failed to explain.

US/Western MSM press agents for wealth, power, privilege and forever wars on invented enemies ignored Thursday's GA vote.

So did the Qatar regime's owned and operated Al Jazeera.

On Friday, its report on actions at the UN included nothing on Thursday's GA vote to condemn the glorification of Nazism.

The last report on UN actions by the NYT, WaPo and AP (fake) News was on Dec. 1 — saying a committee denied world body seats to Myanmar and Afghanistan.

In mid-October by a vote of 143 - 5, UN member-states — in support of Nazi-infested Ukraine — rejected the UN Charter right of self-determination by opposing overwhelming support of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye residents to join Russia by internationally monitored open, free and fair referendums.

A Final Comment

On Thursday, US European Union vassal states agreed in principle on a 9th round of illegal sanctions on Russia — what'll be formally approved on Friday when published in the bloc's Official Journal.

They imposed asset freezes and travel bans on additional Russian nationals.

To date, EU regimes blacklisted over 1,400 Russian nationals and 118 entities, including defense and industrial firms, mining sector companies and banks.

In response on Friday, Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister, Alexander Grushko, said the following"

EU regimes "abandon(ed) market principles in energy, finance and other areas."

It's "their choice, (but) when implemented undermines international economic relations…and economic interests of these countries."

Separately on Thursday, Vladimir Putin said the following:

"Today, EU EU (regimes) themselves say the policy of their main partner, the US, is leading directly to the de-industrialization of Europe."

"They are even trying to complain about that to their American overlord."

"Sometimes there are even words of resentment: 'Why are you doing this to us?' " 

"I want to ask: 'What did you expect?' What else happens to those who allow feet to be wiped on them?"

In stark contrast to the US-dominated West, "Russia helps the poorest states in Africa, Asia and other regions, delivering food and other goods."

The empire of lies and its vassals ruthlessly exploit them.

Instead of harming Russia, EU regimes and Britain harmed themselves, while benefitting hegemon USA at their expense.

They're responsible for creating an energy crisis in Europe, double-digit inflation and recession mostly likely to be deep and protracted.

The empire of lies and forever wars is far from immune from worsening economic and financial conditions.

Numbers of layoffs are increasing.

In late July, truth-telling economist, Paul Craig Roberts, said the US was already in recession.

Calling interest rate hikes "mindless" under conditions of economic weakness, he slammed the Fed and other central banks as "the bane of every country."

They serve monied interests at the expense of the general welfare.

As year end approaches, destructive US/Western geopolitical, economic and financial policies will likely be remembered as the grinch that stole Christmas and caused protracted misery for ordinary people throughout the US/West and elsewhere.
