Phony Claims of Russian Interference in US Elections

by Stephen Lendman

No evidence of foreign interference in US elections exists — not by Russia or other nations.

In stark contrast, hegemon USA has a long history of interfering in scores of foreign elections worldwide throughout the post-WW II period and earlier.

Whenever US officials and their MSM press agents claim foreign interference or threats to federal elections, no credible evidence supports allegations because none exists.

Witch hunt Russiagate House, Senate, and Mueller probes shot blanks.

The latter's team including 19 lawyers, 40 FBI special agents, intelligence analysts, forensic accountants, and other professional staff spent around $25 million.

They issued 2,800 subpoenas, 500 search warrants, dozens of orders authorizing use of pen registers, 13 requests to foreign governments for evidence and over 230 orders for communication records.

They conducted hundreds of interviews and made 34 politicized indictments on invented charges unconnected to what the probe was mandated to cover.

Despite all of the above, they discovered no evidence of Russian US election meddling, no collusion with Trump to triumph over Hillary, no obstruction of justice.

Russiagate was a colossal scam.

The same reality applies to current phony allegations of interference by Russia in US midterms.

Yet according to an array of NYT fake news reports, Vladimir Putin personally authorized efforts to harm electoral success of undemocratic Dems — despite not a shred of credible evidence suggesting it.

And this Times trash:

"Russia covertly g(ave) at least $300 million to political parties, officials and politicians in more than two dozen countries since 2014 (sic), and plans to transfer hundreds of millions more (sic), with the goal of exerting political influence and swaying elections (sic), according to…State Department" fake news.

More Times trash, falsely accusing  Russia of engineering Trump's 2016 triumph over Hillary.

Once again, no corroborating evidence was presented because there is none — plenty proving otherwise.

And this WaPo trash:

"Russia secretly funded foreign political parties and candidates in more than two dozen countries (sic)" — citing invented US intelligence because nothing legitimate exists.

In response to the latest fake news accusations of US election-meddling by Russia, its lower house State Duma Speaker, Vyacheslav Volodin, debunked the Big Lie, saying:

Undemocratic Dems and their MSM press agents "are at it again."

Moscow categorically denies interfering in the internal affairs of other nations — a longtime hegemon USA specialty.

Separately, Dem press agents slammed Elon Musk for tweeting the following:

"To independent-minded voters: shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties."

"Therefore I recommend voting for a Republican Congress, given that" Dems control the White House.

Given the record number of midterm mail-in ballots, results in some key battleground states won't likely be known after polls close on election day so final results won't be known.

Multiple days or longer may pass before final results are reported in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, and Wisconsin.

And in closely contested state and local elections, lawsuits may seek to overturn results that plaintiffs consider fraudulent.

According to Bloomberg News:

"Americans are headed to the ballot box amid a surge of partisan election lawsuits."

Pre-election, "more lawsuits (were) filed than (throughout) 2020 by (Dems) and Republicans on everything from who can vote to where ballots are collected and monitored."

To date, "at least 157 suits were filed," more highly likely post-election.

And this from Judicial Watch president, Tom Fitton, on Monday:

"One side is pushing for more security to instill confidence in how elections are run."

"The other side (wants) less security under the guise of more people voting being better."

"Americans should ask: why (do Dems) oppose virtually every election integrity measure?"

It's because they "want to steal elections when necessary."

That's the elephant in the room X factor in the run-up to, on Nov. 8 and its aftermath.

Whether or not Joseph Stalin said "people who cast votes don't decide an election, (just) people who count" them, the latter reality in the US/West and elsewhere is how elections are decided.

Rare exceptions prove the rule — none throughout US history.
