While MSM propaganda and puppet Zelensky pretend that Ukrainian troops are holding their own against Russian forces, former Swiss strategic intelligence expert. Jacques Baud, set the record straight, saying the following:

US/NATO "created conditions for conflict to break out" in Ukraine.

Donbass residents are "victims (of) Ukrainian army's shelling."

"For years, the West remained silent about the massacre of Russian-speaking Ukrainians by the Kiev (regime), without ever trying to bring pressure on Kiev." 

"It is this silence that forced the Russian side to act" after years of futile conflict resolution diplomacy.

"If (the US/West) insisted that Ukraine abide by the Minsk Agreements, which had negotiated and endorsed, none of this would have happened." 

US/Western "arms to Ukraine add fuel to the fire."

Ukrainian officials in favor of conflict resolution through diplomacy "have been eliminated…assassinated by the Ukrainian secret service (SBU)" — approved and encouraged by hegemon USA.

"Vladimir Putin will likely achieve the goals he set."

Under his leadership, "Russia is a democracy."

Baud also explained that in six days, Russian forces established control over Ukrainian territory as large as the UK.

They advanced with greater speed and effectiveness than Nazi Germany's Wehrmacht after invading Russia in June 1941.

Demilitarization of Ukraine is largely achieved.

New weapons, munitions and military equipment sent by US/Western regimes are being largely destroyed before reaching Ukrainian troops.

As for US/Western sanctions war, they inflicted more harm on sanctioning regimes and their people than on largely self-sufficient Russia.

In trying to harm Russia, they shot themselves in the foot, their people paying the price with soaring inflation, disrupted supply chain causing shortages of goods, increased poverty and food insecurity.

On Wednesday, Vladimir Putin explained the following:

"(A)ll goals of the special military operation launched on February 24 will definitely be attained in order to guarantee peace and security for the residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk people's republics, of Russian Crimea, and our entire country."

"(O)ur soldiers and officers averted a real danger posed to our Motherland."

"Their courage, determination, and heroism prevented a larger conflict that would have unfolded on our territory" had Russia not intervened against Kiev aggression.

Hegemon USA-dominated Western regimes "launched large-scale economic war against Russia" by unparalleled numbers of sanctions. 

"(B)ut (their) plans to strangle us economically have also fallen through."

Ukrainians are considered "expendable" by the US/West.

They're used and abused in pursuit of their diabolical aims.

Putin then stressed the following:

"(I)f anyone intends to intervene from the outside and create a strategic threat to Russia that is unacceptable to us, they should know that our retaliatory strikes will be lightning-fast." 

"We have the tools we need for this, the likes of which no one else can claim at this point." 

"We will not just brag."

"We will use them if necessary." 

"I want everyone to know this."

"We have made all the decisions on this matter."

Putin added that Russia's "banking system, national currency, transport, trade, and the economy (overall) have withstood the shock and have not crumbled." 

"On the contrary, they now have good resources for development, for the launch of new projects in infrastructure and industry, and for developing and unlocking the potential of all our regions."

"(W)e will counter any crude and often inept external restrictions, the destruction of all civilized rights and agreements and attempts to isolate us with greater freedom of entrepreneurship, openness to honest partnerships, respect and reliable protection of owners and genuine investors."

Russia's Defense Ministry will soon reveal indisputable evidence of "heinous crimes" committed by Nazified Ukrainian thugs and likeminded mercenaries.

"These atrocities" will not go unpunished.

Separately after meeting with pro-Western, imperial tool Antonio Guterres, Sergey Lavrov said the following:

Hegemon USA-dominated NATO transformed Ukraine "into a bridgehead for provoking and containing Russia."

Their regimes encouraged (Kiev) to promote laws that prohibited the Russian language, Russian media outlets, Russian (culture) and everything that is Russia." 

"At the same time, laws were adopted to formalize Nazi theory and practices."

Russia's SMO was undertaken to protect the nation's security, to end years of Kiev's war on Donbass, and to free its people from brutal Nazified occupation.

Moscow favors conflict resolution by diplomacy.

Controlled by its higher power in Washington, puppet Zelensky continues the futility of endless war.

On the Biden regime's aim to give majority UN General Assembly member states veto power over Security Council resolutions or vetoed ones by Russia and/or China, Lavrov minced no words, saying:

"Nothing will happen to the right of veto (by the Security Council's 5 permanent members), I can assure you." 

"The right of veto is a supporting pillar of the UN, without which this organization would go out of control." 

"The permanent (5) members of the Security Council rely on the principle of unanimity that is enshrined in the UN Charter and helps to avoid any rough clashes between them."

As the world turns increasingly toward greater multi-polarity, hegemon USA's rage "to make the world unipolar forever" failed.

Today's world is multipolar.

There's nothing the US-dominated West can do about it — other than wage global war, what may have already begun.

On US/Western supplied weapons to Ukraine, Lavrov stressed that they're "legitimate targets for Russia's" SMO to target and destroy — precisely what's happening.
