Facts Hegemon USA-Dominated NATO and MSM Suppress

by Stephen Lendman

Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson also served as State Department deputy director of counterterrorism.

A recognized expert on issues related to terrorism, aviation security, crisis and risk management, his expertise has been developed since the 1980s.

On March 20, he said the following:

"Russia is systematically destroying NATO sites in Ukraine…expos(ing) (the alliance's) impotence" when confronted by superior Russian capabilities.

Moscow is committed to demilitarizing Ukraine. It's largely been accomplished already.

On March 22, Johnson stressed the following:

"The Ukrainian army has been defeated."

Mopping up operations by Russian forces alone remain to be accomplished.

From day one of its campaign, Russia's overwhelming military superiority was demonstrated.

With 24 hours of its launch, "all Ukrainian ground radar intercept capabilities were wiped out."

"Without those radars, the Ukrainian air force lost its ability to do air to air intercept."

Since that time, "Russia established a de facto no fly zone over Ukraine."

"While still vulnerable to shoulder fired surface to air missiles supplied by the US and NATO to the Ukrainians, there is no evidence that Russia has had to curtail combat air operations."

Virtually unobstructed, they continue daily as planned.

"Ukraine's ability to launch significant military operations" were swiftly eliminated.

Johnson noted that when Nazi Germany invaded Russia in June 1941 with a troop strength exceeding three million, it took their forces seven weeks to reach Kiev.

Russian forces got to the city's outskirts from multiple directions in 3 days.

And in contrast to no concern for civilian lives by Nazi Germany, Russian operations take great care to protect them.

"The scale and scope of the Russian attack is remarkable," Johnson stressed, adding:

Its forces "captured territory in three weeks that is larger than the land mass of the United Kingdom."

Ukraine's military "was split…into fragments."

Its communication lines were "cut."

Russian forces are securing control over the Donbass city of Mariupol.

They control Ukraine's airspace and coastal waters.

Based on what Russian forces accomplished swiftly, effectively and overwhelmingly, its success "should scare the hell out of US military and political leaders," Johnson stressed.

He was notably impressed by Russia's destruction of "de facto NATO bases in Yavoriv and Zhytomr" by hypersonic missiles last weekend.

Russian forces are also destroyed "bases used by NATO regularly since 2015," Johnson explained.

Last week, Fox News Tucker Carlson interviewed Col. Douglas MacGregor.

He minced no words, saying the following:

"The war is really over for the Ukrainians. They have been ground into bits."

Reality is as follow:

Will the US-dominated West get along with Russia?

Or will their ruling regimes "pursue…regime change dressed up as a Ukrainian war?"

"Are we going to stop using Ukraine as a battering ram against Moscow" or continue a failed policy?

"(A)n air of desperation (prevails) in Washington," said Johnson.

The Biden regime blundered by demonizing all things Russia, he stressed.

The continuing harebrained scheme overwhelmingly "unit(ed) the Russian people behind Putin and they are ready to dig in for a long struggle."

"I am shocked at the miscalculation in thinking economic sanctions on Russia would bring them to their knees."

"The opposite is true. Russia is self-sufficient and is not dependent on imports."

"Its exports are critical to the economic well-being of the West."

"If…wheat, potash, gas, oil, palladium, finished nickel and other key minerals (are withheld) from the West, European and US economies will be savaged."

As discussed in a previous article, US proxy war on Russia and events since Feb. 24  greatly jeopardize dollar hegemony.

It's pushing nations to de-dollarize. Investing in greenbacks is no longer safe from confiscation.

A new international economic order is emerging — at the expense of US hegemonic aims.

The price of imperial arrogance is coming home to roost.

The Biden regime and key NATO partners shot themselves in the foot.

Johnson believes that the US dollar as an international reserve currency is heading for history's dustbin.

The swift success of Russian military operations in Ukraine "shocked and alarmed NATO officials," he said.

Russia's mid-March hypersonic missile strike on Yavoriv, Ukraine "killed…over 200 personnel," including US and UK "military and intelligence personnel…hundreds more wounded," many seriously, Johnson explained, adding:

"Yavoriv was an important forward base for NATO."

It no longer exists.

Russia struck other bases in Ukraine.

"Putin has sent a very clear message."

"NATO forces in Ukraine will be viewed and treated as combatants. Period."

The main aim of Russia's campaign is to secure the nation and its people from the menace posed by US-dominated NATO.

Rendering Ukrainian forces a fragmented, spent force swiftly and overwhelmingly delivered an unequivocal message to the US-dominated alliance.

Russian military superiority — including its largely unleashed, unmatched super-weapons — can operate against NATO member states in similar fashion to how it smashed Ukraine's war machine.

As for Kiev, the longer it refuses to accept Russia's legitimate demands, the more wreckage it'll have to deal with in the aftermath of its triumph.

For the first time since the Russian Federation was established in 1991, its military campaign in Ukraine displayed the overwhelming power and effectiveness its forces can exert against threats to the nation's security.

For Pentagon strategists and their key NATO counterparts, it's back to the drawing board with a militarily superior Russia in mind.
