Chicago Public School Schools Closed Over Nothing

by Stephen Lendman

Education from kindergarten through grad school was the most important time of my life — from the late 30s to late 50s.

It was at a time when teachers at all levels taught and classroom decorum was conducive to learning.

It was my crucial formative period from around age-5 to 23 — two years of military service included between college and grad school.

Replacing classroom instruction that includes normal interactions among students and with teachers — including extracurricular activities — is pseudo-education, not the real thing, not the full experience I enjoyed to young adulthood.

Since seasonal flu was deceptively renamed covid with diabolical aims in mind, education as it was when I was growing up long longer exists at any level.

Instead of preparing the current generation of kids for adulthood, its opportunities and responsibilities, "we are destined to have a nation of (uneducated) morons."

That's what former Boston University President said in his June 1950 commencement address about the television "craze."

It applies to all things flu/covid since early 2020.

Jefferson called an educated citizenry "a vital requisite for our survival as a free people."

Madison warned that "A popular Government, without popular information, or the means of acquiring it, is but a Prologue to a Farce or a Tragedy, or, perhaps both."

Diogenes called education "the foundation of every state."

Father of American education Horace Mann called "(t)he common school…the greatest discovery ever made by man."

He meant public schools to educate and develop students, preparing them for adulthood.

Decades after the Supreme Court's landmark 1954 Brown v. Board of Education ruling, widespread public ignorance is today's abnormal.

Along with irreparably harming their health and well-being by kills shots and all else flu/covid related, today's generation of children is being cheated by lack of education as it should be.

On Wednesday, Chicago Public School (CPS) classes were cancelled after a vote by Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) members refused to work in classrooms.

Like most others, they were manipulated to fear the more scariant than variant omicron.

Around 290,000 Chicago kids are adversely affected at the most important formative time of their lives.

Since early 2020, Chicago public school classes were suspended or cancelled for the third time.

CPS CEO Pedro Martinez urged the CTU to delay its vote in vain.

Turning him down, the CTU's House of Delegates voted 555-77 to hold the membership-wide vote.

By a near 3 - 1 majority, Chicago teachers approved no classroom instruction until either January 18 or a reduction in flu/covid outbreaks below last year's threshold that trigged school closures.

After tallying the vote count and announcing it, a CTU statement said the following:

Chicago's public school teachers "want to be in their classrooms with their students (sic)."

They overwhelmingly voted otherwise "with a heavy heart and a singular focus on student and community safety (sic)."

Left unexplained by the CPS and CTU is that the vast majority of reported flu/covid outbreaks reflects false positive PCR test results — with no validity.

Asymptomatic healthy individuals are being falsely diagnosed as ill.

No legitimate reasons exist to cancel classroom instruction.

The price of lost development for kids overwhelmingly exceeds any risk to their health.

Contracting flu/covid would benefit them for natural immunity gained henceforth.

For children, adolescents and most adults, full recovery is nearly 100%.

Closing schools for a short or longer duration cheats them two ways — by lost personal development and benefit of contracting flu/covid for protection derived by near-certain recovery.

The CPS pledge to provide families with a "new plan to continue student learning" by the end of the day Wednesday is small consolation for what's lost while schools remain closed.

The CPS and CTU share blame.

So do MSM for no end to fear-mongering mass deception with diabolical aims in mind.

School closures in Chicago may continue throughout the winter into spring or longer.

Happening for the third time, it's likely to repeat this fall and next year, perhaps in future years without mass-public opposition to what's going on.

Vulnerable segments of society are harmed most — along with students from grade school through higher education.

As long as what's going on continues unchecked, destruction of public health and social control tyranny will be solidified as the new abnormal in Chicago, nationwide and abroad.
