Interventionist Blinken Threatens Economic War on Russia

Wars are based on Big Lies and mass deception.

Instead of avoiding them, they're waged time and again — their driving force the lust for power and munitions racket profiteering.

US New Deal policies didn't end the Great Depression, what WW II accomplished.

Roosevelt wanted involvement in Europe's war, including by legislation to reverse US neutrality.

On July 4, 1941, he said the following: 

"(S)olemnly (understand) that the US will never survive as a happy and fertile oasis of liberty surrounded by a cruel desert of dictatorship." 

His July 25 executive order froze Japanese assets, dubiously claiming:

It's "(t)o prevent the use of the financial facilities of the US in trade between Japan and the US in ways harmful to national defense and American interests, to prevent the liquidation in the US of assets obtained by duress or conquest, and to curb subversive activities in the US."

He pushed the envelope for war in the Pacific by strangling Japan economically and financially.

He encouraged it by stationing the Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor — ignoring advice of its commander and chief of naval operations.

He spurned Japanese peace overtures that would have protected American interests in the Pacific.

He wanted war, not peace.

Pushing imperial Japan to attack Pearl Harbor, he knew it was coming after the Japanese code was broken.

What happened on December 7, 1941 was no surprise. The attack gave FDR the global war he wanted.

In September 1940, Axis powers Germany, Japan and Italy signed the Tripartite Pact.

It called for mutual assistance if any TP signatory country was attacked.

Four days after Pearl Harbor on December 11, Hitler declared war on the US — even though the TP didn't obligate Germany to aid Japan if it was the aggressor.

As the saying goes, the historical record explained what followed.

Mark Twain once said that history doesn't repeat. It rhymes. 

George Santayana warned that "(t)hose who do not remember (or learn from) the past are condemned to repeat it."

On Monday from Riga, Latvia, interventionist Blinken threatened all-out economic war on Russia.

Falsely accusing Moscow of "aggressive and destabilizing actions against its neighbors (sic)," including a nonexistent military buildup in and around Ukraine (sic), he claimed as well without evidence that "Russia plans for significant aggressive moves against Ukraine (by) large-scale military operations (sic)."  

"(W)e must prepare for all contingencies while working to see to it that Russia reverses course (sic)."

"We are prepared to impose severe costs for further Russian aggression in Ukraine (sic)."

"NATO is prepared to reinforce its defenses on the eastern flank."

"(W)e urge Russia to de-escalate (sic), to reverse the recent (nonexistent) troop buildup (sic), to return forces to normal peace-time positions (sic), to pull back heavy weapons and forces from the line of contact in eastern Ukraine (sic), to refrain from further intimidation and attempts to destabilize Ukraine internally (sic), and to leave plans for further military action behind (sic)."

All of the above are bald-faced Big Lies.

They risk greater over-the-top Biden regime actions that could push things toward unthinkable war with Russia.

In response to a question about how far the Biden regime will go, Blinken said:

"(W)e've made clear that we will respond resolutely, including with a range of high-impact economic measures that we have refrained from pursuing in the past," adding:

"(S)hould Russia reject diplomacy and reinvade Ukraine (sic), we will be prepared to act" — with no further elaboration.

In response to his war of words, perhaps with intent to turn things hot, Sergey Lavrov said the following:

(US-colonized) Ukraine mobilized around 125,000 forces against Donbass.

"This information surfaced a long time ago." 

"We drew the attention of the OSCE, through its Special Monitoring Mission, as well as Germany, France and other Western countries, using our bilateral contacts with them, to the fact that the Ukrainian authorities were actively sending trains with troops and military hardware to the line of contact." 

"Initially, this was explained by the need to rotate servicemen after they had done a stint in the area." 

"However, it turned out that additional troops are being sent there and those who are supposed to be rotated out of the area are not going anywhere." 

"This is alarming" — risking greatly escalated war to include invasion. 

The Biden and other Western regimes "know all about this." 

"Ukraine does nothing without notifying them and securing support from them." 

"Tomorrow (Thursday), this will be one of the issues I will be discussing with (Russia's) Western (counterparts) at the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Stockholm." 

"I will ask them about their view of what is happening."

"I have almost no doubt that in the course of the general discussion that will take place (on Thursday), there will be some ultimatum-like, rhetoric and aggressive statements of a mostly anti-Russian nature that will demand that we change our policies."

"We, naturally, will call for a dialog, but not endlessly.''

"Russia is knocking at the door (for cooperative relations with the West in peace) that will never open."

"I hope that isn't the case."

On Tuesday, Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) press office said a "Ukrainian military intelligence operative" was apprehended in Moscow — before able to carry out a "terrorist attack," adding:

"He confessed that he was recruited and obeyed the instructions of (Ukrainian) Lt. Col, Kirilovets Maksim Leonidovich…"

He planned "to detonate two self-made explosive devices with a total mass of 1.5 kg in TNT equivalent" — to more greatly heighten what could have been a Biden regime aim to draw a military response from Moscow.

Separately, the FSB said it  apprehended two Ukrainian agents involved in collecting data on strategic Russian facilities.

They "confessed that they had been recruited by a current employee of the Ukrainian Security Service, Col. Vasily Kovalik, who instructed them to collect data on strategic locations for a $10,000 reward."

No evidence suggests a Russian intent to attack Ukraine or any other country.

In response to Blinken's fake news claims otherwise, Speaker of Russia's upper house Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko said the following:

"There are no grounds for these assertions. They are lies, nonsense and…dirty politics."

"Russia wasn't going to, isn't going to and won't attack Ukraine."

Interventionist Blinken and other Biden regime hardliners are pushing things for greater US aggression than already.

Do they have launching WW III in mind, including against China and Iran?

Will they risk destruction of planet earth in pursuit of their megalomaniacal aims to own it?
