Biden Regime Sending a Message to Russia?

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org - Home - Stephen Lendman)

The Pentagon reportedly is sending two or more warships to join other US Navy ones patrolling Black Sea waters near Russian territory — clearly where they don't belong.

Much the same scenario is playing out in the Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, other regional waters, the South China Sea, Taiwan Strait, and elsewhere.

US warships, warplanes, and ground troops are deployed worldwide, notably in or near nations targeted by US dark forces for regime change — by brute force if other tactics fail.

According to Military.com, US warships in Black Sea waters are "meant to show support for Ukraine."

The US war department said increasing their numbers is all about "sen(ing) a significant message to Russia (sic)."

If Moscow deployed warships or other military forces near US borders, dominant hawks in Washington would consider the move a casus belli.

Yet the Pentagon routinely operates this way worldwide — part of its war on humanity.

The US is perpetually at war on multiple nations by hot and/or other means — extrajudicially.

In stark contrast, Russia prioritizes peace, stability, cooperative relations with other countries, confrontation with none, and compliance with international law.

US navy Lt. Commander Matthew Comer said Pentagon warships maintain a regular presence in Black Sea waters — while declining to say if more US warships are headed there now.

"As a matter of policy, we do not discuss future operations or ship schedules," he said.

Military.com explained the following:

The (1936) Montreux Convention requires the Pentagon to give Turkey 14 days advance notice of its plans to sail warships through the Dardanelles and Bosporus Strait0 that connect the Mediterranean to the Black Sea.

On Friday, the Middle East Eye said the US notified Turkey over two weeks ago of plans to send two additional warships to Black Sea waters — to remain there at least through May 5.

Reportedly they'll arrive in mid-April.

On Friday, Tass reported that Ankara notified Moscow that "two US warships would enter the Black Sea through the Bosporus Strait on April 14 and 15 and stay there until May 4-5."

According to Russia's Defense Ministry, 10 vessels — including landing and artillery boats from the Caspian Flotilla — are heading to the Black Sea for involvement in a training exercise.

On Friday, interventionist Blinken's deputy spokeswoman Jalina Porter falsely blamed Russia for US-orchestrated aggression by proxy Ukrainian forces against Donbass.

Turning truth on its head, she said the following:

"(W)e continue to be concerned about the actions Russia has taken to escalate the tensions in Ukraine (sic)."

"(W)e commend Ukraine for its ongoing restraint (sic) in the face of Russia's provocations in that current situation (sic)," adding:

"(W)e'll continue to hold (Russia) accountable" for US-orchestrated aggression by Kiev against Donbass.

On Thursday, White House press secretary Psaki made similar hostile remarks.

Biden regime Russophobes are responsible for transforming the line of contact between Ukraine and Donbass into the world's main hot spot.

On March 30, Vladimir Putin spoke to his German and French counterparts — stressing that preemptive shelling of Donbass by Ukrainian forces greatly destabilized Europe's heartland and threatens Russian security.

On Friday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the following:

"The situation on the contact line in Ukraine is extremely unstable."

"The dynamics of the development of this state of affairs, and the behavior of the Ukrainian side, creates the danger of a resumption of full-scale hostilities," adding:

If this occurs, it will endanger Russian security.

"(N)o country in the world would stand aside."

"And all countries, including Russia, would take measures to prevent such tragedies from happening again."

Putin's deputy chief of staff Dmitry Kozak stressed that Moscow will do what's necessary to protect its nationals in Donbass if threatened by Kiev.

According to the Kremlin, 640,000 Donbass residents have Russian passports.

They'll be in harm's way if Kiev escalates aggression on Donbass to full-scale war.

According to Russian military analyst Konstantin Sivkov, if US-dominated NATO supports Kiev aggression by striking Donbass, "Russia will certainly enter a military conflict."

The risk of full-scale war in Europe's heartland near Russia's border is ominously real.
