You do not have the executive order power to make unjust proclamations and claim ARS 26-301 and 26-303 give you such authority. Be specific. We do not have a state of war emergency nor danger from hazardous material.I will not comply with this executive order.

Thank you for contacting our office about Governor Ducey's most recent Executive Order directing Arizonans to "Stay home, Stay healthy, Stay connected"  in the continued effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. 

The latest Executive Order issued by the governor follows new guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and comes at the recommendation of public health officials who are tracking data specific to Arizona. 

Under the Executive Order, Arizonans shall limit their time away from their homes, except:

-To participate in essential activities

-Volunteer or participate in essential functions

-Utilize any services or products provided by essential business services

We know many citizens have questions about whether their business or charitable organization is considered essential. Governor Ducey issued an Executive Order on March 23, 2020 to ensure one uniform policy defining "essential services" throughout Arizona, and we encourage you to review the order to determine whether your business falls into an exempted category.
