Sweden Wants Assange Tried on Phony Rape Charges

In May 2017, Swedish Public Prosecution director Marianne Ny dropped her arrest warrant against Assange, saying she'd no longer pursue rape, unlawful coercion, and sexual molestation charges against him.

Did a honey trap ensnare him in 2010 for having condomless sex with one of his accusers? Both women he had sex with later had second thoughts about wanting him charged.

Did they unwittingly and Sweden wittingly represent US interests, wanting him grabbed for extradition to Washington? Not while he was in Stockholm for five weeks. 

He left in 2010 when told he wasn't wanted for questioning. No charges were filed against him related to his time in Sweden. An investigation on alleged charges against him was closed for lack of evidence. 

At the time, his lawyer was way premature, declaring "total victory," adding "(t)he preliminary investigation has been dropped, and the detention order has been withdrawn, and from Sweden's point of view this is now over."

Accusations against Assange were fabricated, a scheme to get him into Swedish custody for extradition to the US.

According to WikiLeaks editor-in-chief Kristinn Hrafnsson, "considerable political pressure (was exerted) on Sweden to reopen their investigation," adding:

All along, accusations against Assange were and remain dubious. He categorically denies them, saying his sexual relations with two women in Stockholm were consensual. 

A Swedish prosecutor determined that "no crime at all" occurred, the case against him reopened at the behest of UK authorities in cahoots with Washington.

As early as 2013, Swedish authorities sought to drop the case because no credible evidence supports it, according to Hrafnsson.

Assange repeatedly expressed willingness "to answer any questions from the Swedish authorities," Hrafnsson stressed. They refused until chief prosecutor Ingrid Isgren interviewed him in November 2016 inside Ecuador's London embassy — after which the case against him was dropped, now reopened because of pressure on Swedish authorities.

In 2010 while in Stockholm, Sweden, Assange had sexual relations with two women. One identified as SW said she "did not want to put any charges on Julian Assange. (She) did not want to accuse (him of) anything," adding "police…made up the charges" against him.

The other woman identified as AA said "she had consented to have sex with Assange, but that she would not have done so if she had known that he was not wearing a condom," adding: 

She "d(id) not desire any contact with a crime victims service" because no crime occurred. She later spoke about the issue publicly, identifying herself as Anna Ardin.

Rape is legally defined as unlawful sexual intercourse, forced by one individual on another without mutual consent — most often by a man against a woman against her will.

Statutory rape involves adult sexual relations with a minor — physically and mentally below the age of consent.

In 2015, the statute of limitations on Assange's sex with Ardin expired. It expires in 2020 for the other woman in 2020.

UK authorities explained that Assange was forcefully arrested on April 11 with intent to extradite him to the US. It's Britain's call on whether to hand him over to the Trump regime or Swedish authorities.

Perhaps DJT et al want him prosecuted and convicted in Sweden to sully his image before requesting their authorities extradite him to the US.

Targeting him has nothing to do with phony rape, computer hacking, or other computer-related charges.

It's all about wanting whistleblowers and investigative journalists intimidated, prosecuted and silenced for the "crime" of truth-telling about high crimes of state US authorities want suppressed, Britain and Sweden aiding and abetting them.

US actions against Assange, Chelsea Manning, and others like them is how all police states operate. 

Britain and Sweden conspired with Washington to crucify Assange. Targeting him threatens speech, media and academic freedoms for everyone else in the US, UK, and other Western countries.

What's happening to Assange, Manning, and others like them puts all truth-tellers on vital issues at risk.

It's what tyranny is all about in the US and elsewhere in the West — things heading toward abolishing freedoms altogether.
