NYT Anti-Syria Rage

by Stephen Lendman

The Times and other media scoundrels are allied with dark US and partnered forces waging naked aggression on Syria since March 2011 - wanting its sovereign independence destroyed, its resources looted, and people ruthlessly exploited.

When it comes to US-led wars of aggression in multiple theaters, the Times operates as an imperial press agent, supporting what demands condemnation.

Its latest anti-Syria hit piece continued calling US-led aggression "civil war." There's nothing remotely civil or lawful about it.

The battle to liberate Idlib province began last week, Russian and Syrian airstrikes on terrorists' positions ahead of the major impending ground offensive.

The Times falsely portrayed US-led aggression, using ISIS and other cutthroat killer terrorists as imperial proxies, as internal "rebellion."

It feigned concern for Syrian civilians in the province it doesn't give a damn about - or any place else.

During the US-led rape, destruction, and mass slaughter of civilians in Mosul, Iraq and Raqqa, Syria, the Times and other media scoundrels pretended Washington and its imperial partners were combatting ISIS they support.

They were largely silent about major US-led crimes of war and against humanity committed in both cities and surrounding areas.

The self-styled newspaper of record opposes Syria's liberation, including in Idlib, the last major US-supported terrorist stronghold.

It quoted Ziofascist neocon extremist Nikki Haley warning against "reckless escalation," demanding Russia back off from aiding the province's liberation.

The Times disgracefully blamed Syria and Russia for years of US-led naked aggression to topple Assad. It called for "(p)reventing an all-out assault" on Idlib - essential to eliminate its US-supported terrorist infestation.

It falsely claims Washington is combatting ISIS and other terrorists it created and supports. It shamefully called for Assad "to change his behavior to get control of (Idlib's) oil and gas resources" - belonging to Syria, no one else.

It disgracefully blamed him "for the vast majority of…atrocities," committed by US-supported terrorists and Pentagon-led terror-bombing.

They include CW incidents committed by ISIS, al-Nusra, and other cutthroat killer jihadists, aided and abetted by so-called White Helmets, partners in high crimes, not civil defense workers as falsely claimed.

The Times supports endless US wars of aggression, disdains peace and stability, blaming victims for imperial high crimes committed against them.
