America's Endless Political Season

by Stephen Lendman

Americans welcoming the end of another political season have it wrong. Fundraising, influence-peddling, deep-seated corruption, and preparing for the next election goes on.

Days of postmortems will follow Tuesday's results, maybe considerable disruption if Trump loses, as expected, and cries foul.

In stump speeches, he called Tuesday's presidential election rigged. Asked if he'll accept the results, he said "I will look at it at the time. I'm not looking at anything now…What I'm saying is I will tell you at the time. I'll keep you in suspense."

"If you look at your voter rolls,  you will see millions of people that are registered to vote that shouldn't be registered to vote." In 2012, Pew Research found about 24 million inaccurate voter registrations because people moved, died or were inactive.

If triumphant on Tuesday, Hillary will enter office on January 20 the most reviled, ruthless and dangerous president in US history. A pathological liar, most voters consider her corrupt, dishonest, untrustworthy and sinister.

If enough Trump supporters believe the election was rigged, as he claims, blood in the streets could follow Tuesday's outcome - perhaps intensifying post-inauguration.

Hillary's first 100 days could be memorable for being tumultuous. According to an IBD/TIPP poll, conducted after Comey's weekend announcement, whitewashing Hillary's email scandal a second time, Trump led her by a 43 - 41% margin.

According to Investor's Business Daily (IBD), "(l)ooking at the last three elections, IBD/TIPP has been the most accurate of 11 national polls."

Does Trump have hidden support other polls haven't reflected? Is Hillary so reviled, most voters prefer him as a way of rejecting her?

Will election-rigging let her triumph anyway because elements controlling America's deep state won't tolerate a Trump administration?

Is "a new way forward (possible one day), put(ting) people, planet and peace over profit(s)" - making America fit to live in, why Jill Stein says she's running for president?
