SPCA, Police Raid FSPer's Farm

On November 4, 2008, Cooper Travis denied the police access to his father's property.  The police had no search warrant and arrested Cooper when he refused to stop videotaping them.
 
 
On March 9, 2009, the police returned and, along with an investigative agent from the SPCA, removed 12 of Brian Travis' horses.
 

However, questions abound about the nature of the raid. Travis, a Free State Project member, claims that it was politically motivated. He says that the horses are healthy and that he is the target of an vindictive SPCA bureaucrat.  The SPCA and the police will not release any information, saying that the case is still under investigation.
