Obama's Schedule in Phoenix This Morning FYI

Written by Subject: Events: Arizona

For those of you interested in showing up and sending a message to President Obama during his visit to Phoenix tomorrow, please find the details of the event below. Please feel free to distribute these details far and wide:

The event is at Dobson High School which is located at 1501 West Guadalupe Road, Mesa, AZ (Between Dobson & Alma School)

The designated public area for this event will be the North lawn area directly in front of the high school off of Guadalupe (essentially. Please note that we will be in the same area as all members of the public, there is no special designated protest zone.

Guadalupe Road will be closed to vehicle traffic from Dobson Road to Alma School Road. Guadalupe Road will be closed to pedestrian traffic from S. Longmore to Alma School Road. Be prepared to find street parking on a side street and then walk to Dobson High School.

As we anticipate large crowds to this event, the earlier you are available to show up, the better chance you have of getting a good location. The Arizona Republican Party will have staff on-hand at 7AM to assist with the event.

As we are guests of the school, please be respectful and show proper decorum during our demonstration. Keep in mind that classes will be in session tomorrow at Dobson High School and that our area is on school property. If we become too much of a distraction, the school can ask us to leave.

Chairman Pullen will be holding a press conference immediately following the event to respond to President Obama’s remarks.

The weather should be clear tomorrow with a 6AM temperature of 38 degrees, rising to 44 degrees by 9AM and then to 59 degrees by noon.  Plan to dress for the temperatures.

We were locked in a 'free Speech Zone' and most people didn't know it! Look for my editorial very soon - I will be explaining what I observed as soon as I have the pictures posted (I'm hurryin'!)
