With around 14,000 marchers pledged to stand with us, and many more to follow, our goal is to organize a peaceful, non-violent march on the streets of Washington D.C. followed by a rally in support of The Revolution that is happening in America. This revolution is large and widespread, and goes beyond any one person, group, or generation.

 

We are committed to being a visual representation of the idea that freedom can still prevail, and that The Constitution and this country cannot be dismantled as long as the people are willing to fight for it. This march is going to be a cornerstone in this country’s history; the day the people realized that the country is still theirs, and not the politicians'.

 

"Our goal is to organize a peaceful, non-violent march on the streets of Washington DC followed by a rally in support of The Revolution that is happening in America. We stand in unison with planners of other mobilizations in the movement and offer planning and logistical assistance for mass mobilizations. The Constitution does NOT ALLOW the federal government to be "world police!". This is just one of many ways that our current federal government is acting in direct violation of the constitution." A lot of people are asking about why we are doing this in the middle of the summer, as opposed to at the national convention, but the answer goes back the reasons behind the march. Dr. Paul isn't advocating a march just for himself, and thats not why he's speaking at ours. We advocate the ideas set forth in the Constitution, and it happens that Dr. Paul does too! THIS CAN NOT turn in to a political rally for any one candidate due to permits. They will be able to SHUT US DOWN if individuals try to make it so.

 

We aren’t in support of one candidate; this isn't a "Ron Paul" march. Instead, it's a march that advocates freedom, peace, and prosperity for all through adherence to the Constitution. Ron Paul is our keynote speaker, and we are more than thrilled to have him there, but this is an idea that isn’t about a candidate. We welcome any person, from any party, and any background, as long as they are interested in learning about or promoting the idea of true liberty. There is also the question of why we would even bother, why anyone should even bother? After all, marches happen everyday that get no media attention, and end up causing no real changes. This is a completely valid point, but I would want to point out that this march is going to be different in many ways.

 

This march isn’t about attracting attention and getting the media to look our way, instead its about teaching people the skills they need to really cause a change that will have a real effect. “Not only will you have the opportunity to stand up and show your representatives that you are paying attention, but you will have the opportunity to grow in your civic knowledge! Topics to be covered include the Federal Reserve, the economy, foreign policy, subversion of the Constitution, fascism and the impending North American Union, which, of course, includes the topics of illegal immigration, open borders, land confiscation in Texas for the NAFTA Superhighway, and more! But that's not all! We are expanding on the march/rally idea to include many educational and action oriented activities throughout the week! We want this march to be more than just a march. We want this event to aid in producing future candidates, campaign managers, activists, and citizen lobbyists! The only way to effect change is legislatively.” This is the schedule for the week of the march: Wednesday-Thursday: Citizens Lobby Workshops for those who would like to lobby Congress on Friday the 11th Friday: Lobbying your Congressman and Senators with your new found skills Also Friday: Demonstrating in front of the Federal Reserve Building And, Friday is the Marshal training for the special folks who signed up to help keep things humming along the march route as well as the rally.

Our representative for travel plans is Susan Wolfe, who has contracted corporate groups and performed event/convention planning for a major hotel chain for over a decade. Her organization and negotiation skills make her the perfect person to represent the Travel & Lodging Committee. She has started the “ronvoy”, which are busses leaving from multiple places around the country, going to DC. She is also working on securing many group rate hotel discounts, which is going to make this so much more affordable for everyone.
